Not tracking @ replies properly

bkkeepr is tracking my direct messages (sent format d [ISBN] begin), but whenever I try to update using the @bkkeepr format, I get a message back saying "Sorry, I didn't understand your last message. Please check http://bkkeepr.com/how for instructions."

I'm pretty certain I've been following the instructions properly - help?
