Inappropriate?I use it for controlling expose.
Ctrl+Space - D = Show Desktop
Ctrl+Space - W = Expose on Current Application Windows
Ctrl+Space - E = Expose on Every Window

do you need the expose plugin? i can't seem to find it -
pendolino: what you need is the System HotKeys plugin - it's got just the commands you're looking for.

looks like this can be done with just the expose preferences without QS needed.

You're right - if you're content with assigning Expose commands to either a function key or one of the modifier keys (fn, ctrl etc.). At least in Leopard.

Inappropriate?I always use it to launch apps, a lot of times to open a file I just downloaded, and it's really handy to type someone's name and get their phone number displayed big across your screen (hooray for Address Book integration!)

Inappropriate?so many. where does one start:
* ctrl-G brings up a ready-to-go google search pane where i just enter the text and - bam - i get the results i want on google in my default browser.
* ctrl-D brings up a ready-to-go delicious bookmarks search and then opens in browser.
* i have a custom twitter search string as well that opens the twitter search page with results ready to go.
the second command requires the 'social bookmarks' plugin that remains the reason i have not switched to launchbar even though i have tried.
