in the module for Userplane ning, is there any way to send private messages? Does the chat moderators or administrators can designate, as in the conventional Userplane (no link with ning.com)?
I understand that the webmaster can block a user, but I want to know if you can appoint administrators or moderators of the chat only ...

Inappropriate?At the moment the features you are asking for are not available via Blendapps Userplane chat for Ning. However, we are working on adding administration of Userplane chat to the chat.blendapps.com dashboard, so that admins can block users etc. We will take your request to allow other users than the network creator to admin userplane chats into consideration, it sounds like a very good idea.

Inappropriate?maybe the ideal way to handle this would be to set it up so any member of a certain NING group would be considered an admin.
This would be easy from the blendapps side... just create an ADMIN SESSION embed code that is exactly like the regular embed code except with a secure key that means anyone who logs in under it would have admin powers (but still keep their own name, like in the userplane directory version)
Then, the admin session code could be placed in a ning group textbox.
The ning network creator would make that group private- content visible only to approved members, thus controlling who is an ADMIN without any additional permissions coding from blendapps.
