Private CHAT Feature for Userplane?

Uh oh! Do you know when/if a Private CHAT feature will be available for the Userplane? In many CHAT situations, the Moderator must take a person aside to talk with them or other members want to speak in private. We use this feature daily.

We see the Meebo has a private CHAT, but the chat box is too small to use with the giant Video screen taking up most of the space. Thus it is not usable for us.

Also, we have gone to the Editing page, turned off the Video for the userplane, but it still loads. Any ideas? We would like to have a room with and one without this feature, but we can't seem to get it to shut off, even though it is an option under Advanced Editing.
