When will basic functionality be stable?

Ok, I have accepted the fact that I have to wait for my links to come back. I have accepted the fact that the tag cloud is gone, that the stars are gone and that the entire interface has changed.

I am prepared to wait for everything to come together, but I would like to get a clear answer to this question:

When will basic Blinklist functionality be stable?

By basic functionality I mean: adding a link to a site and assigning some tags to the link.

Right now I don't trust the app, because tags that I add keep disappearing en I notice that you are still making changes to the interface.

In short: I do not trust the new Blinklist yet, it feels unstable and dodgy. So before I start Blinking sites again, I would like to know if it is safe and if not when you guys think the new app will be stable enough for us to work with.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

    Inappropriate?
    Hi Vikingdread,

Thank you for your patience with the new BlinkList. I've spoken to our devs about the lost tags problem, and they assure me that the problem has been fixed on our server-side. Do try it and let me know if it's working for you now.

In the mean time, I can help get all your links migrated sooner if you can provide me with your username.

A number of BlinkList functions are currently disabled for performance reasons while we dedicate most of our server resources to migraiton. Developers and database team estimate we're about 2 weeks from stability and optimization, however the service should drastically improve during the period as we turn on more features as and when server resources become available.

I understand your frustration with the new BlinkList, many of us here also use BlinkList regularly, and wants to see BlinkList working properly again.

Again, thank you for bearing with us, and we hope you like the new BlinkList (after everything settles down).
