Hi Rodolfo,
please bear with us while we complete the migration of all the old data to the new platform. Here is what you can do to get your account on a higher priority queue:
1. Log into Blinklist
2. Click on Options
3. Click on Getting Started
4. Click on the link to request to have your account prioritized so that your links get added back sooner.
Once we complete the migration of your account, you should see all your lists again (around to 2-5 days).

Wu, thanks a bunch. You did a great job with the new interface. I hope to be able to have my tag cloud back again. I use it to help my students find some information I find relevant for their term papers. -
Inappropriate?Hey Rodolfo, I've put in a word to the Devs about tag cloud. It'll be easy to get it back after we've finished the migration. However, we're hoping people would love using the super-fast search instead.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks Hu, but the tag cloud is a completely different function from search.
I’m cloudy
-
Inappropriate?I do not know your reasons to be enthusiastic about the search, what I know for a fact is that the Tag Cloud is a great teaching tool. All you need to do as professor is to feed the Cloud, the students go to the sites where you display the Cloud and they can click on the tags they are interested in. That feature is awesome for me and for them. It makes communication inside and outside the classroom smooth and easy. I do not know if you thought about this kind of use when you originally designed the Tag Cloud, but it has been very useful for me. Please do not kill the Cloud. To my mind the super-fast search you are talking about is good for the owner of the list him/herself but not necessarily for people who, let's say, go to a blog and has a chance to click there on a tag to start searching.
-
Inappropriate?Duly noted. We'll see what we can do about the cloud. The feature is still there. We'll figure out how best to present it in the new interface. :)

Inappropriate?Wu has been answering my concerns elsewhere in Get Satisfaction. I really wish them the best possible luck in their task and I express my gratitude for the very diligent attitude. People at Newsvine and many other websites should take lessons from people at MindValley and BlinkList.
I am also very worried about issues, but Wu's and Mike's attitude is extremely comforting. Thanks a lot.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Hi Wu,
I know that you are very busy, but I have also noticed that you have helped other people accelerate their migration, Will it be possible to do the same for me? My username in BlinkList is the same as here: rsnunez. If possible, I will be very happy and thankful. If not I understand that you are under lots of pressure.
Thanks -
Inappropriate?I've sent your username to our dev and they'll get you sorted out as soon as they can.

Inappropriate?i want my tag clouds backkkkkkkkkk in my blinklist and in my personal blog too
-
Blinklist is not existing anymore by my opinion. Join us at Delicious.com - that's something I once wanted Blinklist to be. -
Yeah, probably you are right. For the moment I will keep blinking and furling -
Inappropriate?Yes Patricia, me too. Sadly, Mike and Wu have totally forgotten this website, they no longer answer questions and there is no hope for me to get my tagcloud back...
I’m extremely sad and frustrated

Inappropriate?rodolfo at 2 years ago blinklist was my dream link ;)) perfect!!! a personal portal.... but now everything gets worst
I’m frustated
-
Inappropriate?I completely agree with you. The transition, I think, was needed because of the servers issues but without all the unnecessary changes in their website outlook and the decision to kill the cloud. The cloud was a great teaching device for me. My students would be able to go to my blog and click on an item to get links of readings for our courses. Not only that, it was BL best promotion, I had two badges, one with the cloud and the other with the blinked items in my four blogs. It sucks and they are not answering any questions. I keep blinking but I am also "Furl-ing" because I am afraid their website will disappear any minute now. Doing it in both websites sucks, it is twice the work, and Furl sucks, but I cannot trust BL completely anymore.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?rodolfo is the same service at furling or it ́s like a delicius??
-
Inappropriate?I do not know Delicious. The reason why I ended up at Furl It is because The New York Times shut down their own bookmarking service and they struck a deal with Furl It, So all my NYTimes bookmarks were automatically transferred to Furl It. Most of my Blinks were at The New York Times, so that helped me. I do not like Furl It that much, it is not as simple or as efficient as the old BlinkList, mostly because you need to do a double click to do what you will do with one with the old BL. I also tried NewsVine, but those jack***** kicked me out of their service because I bookmark news not only in English, but also in Spanish, French, and Italian and they seem to be unable to deal with such diversity. It is an only English (probably only Whites) place.
And just in case Mike or Wu are still reading this, sorry guys you screwed up what was the best bookmarking service, there is no need to fix it if it was not broken. I guess there were ways to put new faster servers with the old interface. The old BL was pristine, light, easy to use, and the badge and the cloud were greater than great...
I’m sad, anxious and frustrated

Inappropriate?i was used delicius (bookmark links) before to know blinklist. In my case, i ́m fanatic for links about fashion and design, and also because i have one blog that talk about links nice for to see (trends and new experiences of design) so the tag clouds help alllllll students that visit my blog, so i lost the best od blink list (tag clouds) and my visitors also. At delicius the only thing that they was better is that you can search per 2 or more tags together so they filter for exemple, fashion, trends, prints.... did you undertand rodolfo??
-
Inappropriate?Yes, I get it. Same here. I teach sociology and policy and the tag cloud was just great. The students will to my blog they will hit Automotive Industry or GM and they will get all the links I have blinked about those topics. I explained this use of the cloud to Wu himself in some exchange when they used to read and answer these threads here at Get Satisfaction, but at some point they decided their time was better spend doing something else.
I mean, I understand the need to monetize, I do understand the fact that BL is for free and that it is not easy to get funding nowadays, but at least they should let us know if the whole thing is gone with the wind, or if they are still working or something. Silence is a female dog.
I’m sad, anxious, confused and frustrated

Inappropriate?;)) so we must to wait ;))
