Have you abandoned work on Blinksale?
I'm very disappointed that what started out as a great app seems to have been completely abandoned by its developers. What happened? In letting it go this way, you've lost a huge portion of your audience and supporters, thus losing out on revenue. Even if you do start developing it again, I know I won't be coming back. Sorry guys.

Luc & everyone: I know you've been frustrated by the lack of development on Blinksale over the past few years. Since we started working on it, we've been heads down in restructuring things for better performance and so we could start adding in the features you guys want. They won't all get wrapped in at once, and the goal is not to replicate other services to a 't'.
If you'll keep an eye on things, I think you'll see an ongoing commitment to re-engaging with everyone and keeping fresh code and design flowing into the service. Thanks for trying Blinksale out & I do appreciate the input.

Inappropriate?I agree... there's no feedback and errors are not corrected. Sad to say. I too will look elsewhere
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I've moved on from Blinksale. I started using it way back in January 2006 and it was perfect for my needs back then. However, times change and Blinksale didn't so I moved on.
With the recent news of the take-over I suggest that things might change for the better in the new financial year but unfortunately it's too little, too late for me.

Inappropriate? There are big bugs in the app right now, and emails to support are totally ignored. The most useful source of information is right here, and if you're a customer thinking of signing up, stay away!!!!
If there are any blianksale copycat apps who can match pricing and feature,s I'd suggest they would do VERY well making themselkves known in this forum. I just can't find anything as simple, but I want out of Blinksale ASAP. -
Inappropriate?I looked elsewhere and are now on harvest.
Much better, better support and for me even cheaper :-)
Heres the link:

Unfortuanetly there is no import of you data from blinksale to harvest.
But you can downgrade your blinksale to free and have it for refrence.
I used blinksale from january this year, so I actually copy/pasted all data to harvest. But I have large projects, so I don't have that many invoices in a year
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? This is exactly what I did too. Harvest is fantastic! Great app, developers who are present and who answer support questions promptly. Plus it's beautifully designed and even has an iPhone app.
I’m movin' on!

Inappropriate? Is there any other alterantives to Blinksale? Surely, there's gotta be a developer who can make a perfect knock-off? I have been waiting for than 3 weeks for a reply to an email. That makes this the shittiest place on the web, but I like the look and ui, as sucky as everything else is...
I’m angry

I've signed up with, but not really tested CurdBee: http://curdbee.com/
The free version gives you quite a bit and for $5 a month, it might be a good place to check out. -

Does Get Harvest do PDF invoicing? -

Good luck with your update(s), they would have been very welcomed back in like 2007 or even 2008.
-
Inappropriate?Well it's to late for me. Switched to Harvest. And it's much better and much better support.
If you stay away from your customers that long you'll lose them

Inappropriate? When you have a mission critical issue (like invoices not displaying correctly) with blinksale.com you have to howl to get support. It's defintely a downward slope, not 5 star at all.
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?100% agree - the _only_ thing blinksale managed to implement was PDF generation, about 2 years ago. After that, it's been nothing. I've moved away. I'm currently invoicing through MS Accounting. It's not as automated as Blinksale was, but it's more flexible. Looking to move to www.cannybill.com when they manage MS Accounting integration. Looks good.

I’m very confused as to why they'd just turn off like this.

Inappropriate?I agree with most of the above comments, but am willing to give Blinksale the benefit of the doubt for a little while longer to see if things improve.
Have to say I was a bit disappointed with the 'iPhone app' that was announced this week - not so much an app as a US-centric, limited function iPhone-friendly web page. It's actually much better to just visit the Blinksale website via Safari on the iPhone, and almost as fast. Hey ho.
I'd be interested to know if Get Harvest does PDF invoicing; that's the really attractive thing about Blinksale, although I wish it was available on all of the plans, or at least the Silver one too - not just the pricey Gold one.
However, I think it's encouraging that there's new blood on board and if things do develop and improve and Blinksale becomes more responsive to feature suggestions (statements, anyone?) and bug fixes then I for one will be along for the ride. Blinksale, don't let me down now...
Cerise.
I’m patient, at least for a little while longer

Inappropriate? Thanks for sharing CurdBee (http://curdbee.com), seems thats what I was looking for a while. Awesome service but I forgot their strange name and couldn't find it thereafter :P
