Inappropriate?Mike — You're right. Blinksale has not received its due love recently. We aim to change that in short order. In fact, that's why we'd like your feedback.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Josh - One the best features I thought would be to make it work with Stickystreet. Customer Loyalty and Blinksale go hand in hand - you'd have to be loyal to stick with this when Freshbooks is just dominating the web (but I still like it)
I’m confused

Inappropriate?I concur with Mike. I have been using BlinkSale for nearly 2 years and love the simplicity and exceptionally great ease of use.
However, as we grow and our needs grow, we would like to see more improvements and features that allow us to tie some of our logistics and needs directly into blinksale.
More ideas coming soon......
I’m glad the Blinksale team is listening now.

Inappropriate? One thing in particular that has caused us to consider switching was the time items import from the Basecamp API that was promised a long, long time ago that's never been implemented. Manually copy/pasting items from BC just to create an invoice when many other services already do that is frustrating.
All of our previous records are in Blinksale, so we'd rather not move, but we would like to see progress.
Thanks for listening... it's encouraging!
I’m frustrated that things take a little longer than they could.

Again, thank you for your patience. I'm very excited about some developments on the Blinksale front. Thanks for sticking with us! -
Inappropriate?I got the same answwer over a year ago! (03/25/08) by Brian...
"Definitely! We are regularly making improvements, though many of those
have been behind-the-scenes of late. We'll have some updates to share
in the near future.
Thanks for using Blinksale!

Is this happening in weeks, months or years?

Point taken. You're right — We've definitely not been as on-the-ball as we would have liked. Again, our goal is to make a radical change. -
Inappropriate?@Josh: Thanks for letting us know development is still happening, but like others in this thread, I'm eager to know what and when.
Let me rephrase that: your development schedule is your business, but your customers have grown terribly spoiled by Blinksale-like apps (Basecamp, et al) and the overabundance of communication you see from those developers: blog posts, tweets, mini-updates, etc. I feel like Blinksale/Firewheel operates behind closed doors.
Perhaps that's your intent, and perhaps I'm just spoiled, but it really does provide some comfort to us paying customers – okay, /formerly/ paying customers, as I'm back to the free plan for a while – to see momentum happening behind the scenes. Shoot, it could be the results of your intra-office ping-pong tournament, just something so we know you haven't all died.
And yes, Blinksale is in need of a few improvements, and we'd love to see (visible) incremental improvements more often than twice a year. ;)
Cheers man. I'm sure you guys are working hard, but take a break to post to the blog or something once in a while! :)
I’m hoping things improve
-
Again, you're absolutely right. We certainly have a shortlist of things that we'd like to get taken care of in short order. Thanks for your kind words and understanding. -
Inappropriate?I couldn't wait any longer for Blinksale to show some commitment and have all my business' on Freshbooks and Freeagent Central now. The world has moved on while Blinksale stood by and watched.
