Blips not getting to ping.fm

Set-up a ping.fm account simply with Facebook integration for starters. If, I post from the dashboard, the ping posts exactly as I would want from ping.fm.

However, I run through the steps to have blip.fm send the blips directly to ping and despite successful integration (see image below), the blips never post to ping and thusly never get sent on to Facebook. Has anyone else noticed an issue with blip integration to ping?
