Was "Blip from URL" support removed?
A while back I joined blip.fm and saw that you could blip a song if you could point to the URL where it was hosted online - which was great for tunes that weren't already in the system but were still blip-worthy. However, today when I tried to do this, it didn't work. Was this functionality removed from blip.fm?

Inappropriate?We took this out because the ID3 detection was pretty buggy and it didn't seem like many people even knew it was possible. I'll look into adding it back for ya.

Great. I can't even remember how I came across the fact that it existed - I think it was partially trial-and-error. I know some other people have expressed interest on this in blip messages or twitters to me. -
Inappropriate?Happy to announce that this feature is back in the mix. Type a URL in the search field and it'll attempt to grab the id3 tags.
