New ads are too much
Sry - I really like the concept of blippr, but the new ads are too much. On the side, all over the bottom - it feels more like I'm on MySpace than an awesome 2.0 site. I know you have to pay bills and don't blame you for doing so, but is there a way to make them less conspicuous? It's like the difference between Slacker and Pandora. Pandora's ads are elegant and non-intrusive. Slacker's give the appearance of being low-rent.

Inappropriate?I'm sorry you find them too much. We will soon have much better ads placed there, but for the interim they are Google-placed. Given we only have one 300x250 in a right sidebar, and one in a footer, we were hoping these would not seem too overwhelming, but we understand your problem with them.
We will be working on making these integrate better with the site over the coming weeks and months, and actually, trying some really cool experiments that encourage the ads to be much more contextual. Hopefully you find them getting better over time, and if you don't, of course let us know.
Side note: as I clicked through I was surprised to see the Google ads on Get Satisfaction's sidebar and below your problem, too. Similar to your experience on blippr, I'm sure.

Inappropriate?I don't see one single ad on GetSatisfaction - in the sidebars or anywhere so I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I have to clarify that I do like blippr alot.
