We do indeed have an API! It's a little bare right now (read only, etc), but you can get lots of good info out of it. Get more info at http://www.blippr.com/development -

@Jackie: I'll check out identi.ca. I'm still waiting on a Jaiku beta invite though! :(
tabrez: CSV export is definitely coming. We'll have to think about how to do import, but if we can make it happen, consider it done!

Inappropriate?I would love to see auto-publish to blogger as a post, similar to how you can post a picture on flickr as a blog post on blogger. It would be awesome if it could auto-push to blogger so I can post a movie/music/game review and it will post it through to my blog.1 Comment Add a comment

Unfortunately, we aren't going to have Blogger support in this next push, due to some weirdness with Google's OAuth scheme. We'll keep working on it and have it available ASAP, though.

Inappropriate?Of course, if your going to enable blogger posting, you might as well have Wordpress, Movable Type, Windows Live Spaces, Drupal, etc. support through the MetaWeblog API. -
Inappropriate?The MetaWeblog API wouild work, certainly, but we may not go that route, at least initially. We're trying to use OAuth where ever services support it (which Blogger does), rather than asking for username/password credentials.
It may be that we use OAuth for Blogger, and the MWB API for the others.

Inappropriate?Awesome, you guys work fast! A couple things:
1. I would love for there to be a way to style blippr posts on my tumblr blog like how they appear on blippr. Especially the different colored ratings and album cover.
2. I'm using blippr to post reviews of albums to my hip-hop blog rapskallion.com, but there are some albums I want to review that arent on there. How can I add albums, or can I?

I'll see about alternate formats for tumblr! :)
If there's an album you want to review that isn't yet on the site, do a search for it, and when it comes up empty, do an "extended search" for it. That'll hit Amazon, etc looking for it. If you still don't find it, there will be an option to create a new title of your choice at the bottom of the page. Hope that helps! -
Inappropriate?I would love a Netvibes widget since it's the service that I use the most, but I would understand if it's not one of your priorities... (but you can also consider that netvibes widgets are universal=compatible with mac dashboard, vista gadget and google reader)
