Help with Blip.Tv Player showing Laggy/Choppy on Older Computers?!?!
On some older computers, when watching my videos via the blip.tv player, it runs slow and choppy. When watching them through my embedded players, the video loads just fine. I have h.264 enabled on my players, but it is not enabled on the blip.tv player. What can I do to my videos to ensure that they run correctly on the blip.tv player? Note, that I encode at 2mbps.

Inappropriate?Hi Daniel,
The issue here is that you're replacing the 400 kbps Flash file, which is suitable for playback on a very wide range of machines. If you're replacing that file with a 2 mbps file it will look better obviously, but you will be limiting older computers from being able to play it back.
The reason we do not allow H.264 playback on blip.tv episode pages is for consistency and compatibility. H.264 is only supported in Flash 9 and 10.
You may want to keep the 400 kbps Flash conversion we make and simply add the 2 mbps version you have as an additional format.

Inappropriate?Hi Tom, sorry that you had to see this as you have already dealt with me on this issue :-( The reason I uploaded my own version of the flash file was because the one that was automatically generated was doing the same thing. I uploaded my own in hopes to fix it. So I'm not sure that is what the issue is. Can I revert back to the automatically generated one to test it?
