Hey Gregg,
The new version of the blip.tv Dashboard supports something called Fast User Switching. This feature allows you to "bond" blip.tv accounts together under one login.
The new Dashboard will be made available to all blip.tv show creators in the coming week or two, and Fast User Switching will be available as a pro account feature. Pro accounts cost $8 per month or $96 for 14 months.
Yours,
Mike

Inappropriate?Hey Gregg,
Not really. Not right now.
The blip.tv system was originally designed for one show per account. We now know that this was a mistake. Unfortunately this particular mistake is especially hard to rectify because the account / show system is deep within the core of our software. Any change would require changes to most, if not all, of the code used to power blip.tv.
All is not lost, however. You can, of course, register multiple accounts and switch between them. You can also (if you must) use playlists and custom players to organize multiple shows under one account. We discourage this hack, however, because it can make certain things like television distribution and advertising more difficult in the future.
We're in the middle of a really big upgrade of the content creator dashboard. This upgrade is nearing completion and you should start seeing the fruits of the upgrade in the coming months. Once we're done with the new dashboard we'll be taking a renewed look at how to support multiple shows per account. We know that it's needed.
Sorry that there's no better answer right now.

Thank you. It's wonderful to get a friendly, honest, human reply like this. -
Inappropriate?that's okay. you really helped me understand this. just wondering, if you set up different accounts (which i've done), can you use the same email address? especially for paypal services.
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?Glad my explanation was helpful.
You can use the same e-mail address for PayPal, yes.
I don't think we allow using the same e-mail address as the primary contact for both accounts. This is to prevent spammers from creating thousands of accounts at once (or at least make it more difficult for them to do so).

Inappropriate?okay so there is no way to match the email address' on both accounts? only for paypal? are the ads on the videos done by google ads or something else?

Inappropriate? If you e-mail support@blip.tv with both of your account's usernames and the request to use the same e-mail address for both. You'll probably be asked to send an e-mail from both e-mail addresses you used, and then to reply to separate messages send to each of those accounts. We do this for security purposes to prevent people from hijacking accounts that don't belong to them.
In terms of the ads, they come from a number of sources. Google is one of them, although they're only one of about six advertising networks we use. We also do our own direct sales. Typically the highest paid ad available for your individual video and the individual video view will be served at any given time. These will vary in terms of sources and values based on a number of factors.
