Booksmart only runs for admins
The Mac version of Booksmart won't run in a normal user account - you need to be an admin in order to run it. I'm using Snow Leopard and, for security reasons, I don't routinely use the admin account.
This is a Booksmart bug which should be rectified.

Inappropriate?Hi,
Sorry to hear that BookSmart isn't running for you, but it runs just fine under a limited user account. Must be something specific to your user settings on the account that is causing the issue, not our software. It's most likely a Java issue (not being able to call up 1.6 version of Java due to another software's settings that have overwritten this in the OS, i.e., Bit Torrent etc.)
If you need more info, please contact Blurb Customer Support.
