Grid view preview problems
Since upgrade to 1.2.3 view as grid hogs resources. For example, if I am looking at a bunch of fonts, and it is unable to generate a preview for any of the fonts, then FC gets stuck in a loop, with the text "Generating Preview" flashing every second or so on the screen, but never actually generating a preview.
This also makes it impossible to activate the font as the program seems to be trying to generate preview, but not able to activate. If I switch to view as list, then I can see a preview of the font with not problem, and activate.

Inappropriate?I'll get onto that problem. Indeed when a font preview can't be generated, Fontcase tries again shortly after that (because Font activations take time), but if it continues to fail, the app will indeed be quite unresponsive.

Inappropriate?I don't have the flashing previews problem myself, but I think this update should put that to a stop. I would appreciate if you could give it a try:

It has fixed a problem I was having with Quicklook style previews though. :)

Inappropriate?That is weird. Could you maybe record a screencast demonstrating this, or what is maybe easer, send me one of the problematic fonts?

Inappropriate?I think I may know what is causing this. It could be caused by FC crashing while you are deleting fonts.
I tried to delete 2 fonts and FC crashed on me. When FC relaunched the 2 fonts I tried to delete were now flashing 'generating preview'. I quit restarted and still 'generating preview'. I checked my .vault and the fonts were not actually there.
Also, I recently did a major clearout of unwanted fonts and alot of them seem to have returned after one of the updates.
