Unsupported fonts now have flashing previews
Previously if a font was unsupported it would appear as the default font. After update my unsupported fonts flash "Generating Preview" very quickly, its annoying, its too fast. When I try to preview the font it says null(void) 0pt. Also, I could still activate unsupported fonts previously but now I cannot activate the flashing/unsupported fonts.
Is Fontcase trying to preview the font but is having difficulties or is this supposed to happen?
EDIT: I just renamed a font name and font variation and now FC cannot generate a proper preview of the font. The font previews fine with original name but I get a flashing preview when i rename the font.

Inappropriate? Thanks for reporting this. The flashing font would indeed indicate that Fontcase is trying to create a preview, but that it doesn't succeed, and tries again after that. I'll try to fix that.
It shouldn't be happening at all though for renamed fonts. That I find a bit disturbing. I'll look into the issues, and thanks for reporting -
Inappropriate?(same for me; flashing preview(s) on Renamed fonts.)
Quitting the application and relaunch sets them to normal. The "Create New Preview" from the Edit menu doesn't do it the first time, but if, after relaunch, it has not created new preview automatically, then Edit > Create New Preview does the trick.
If I rename, I do a few at a time then quit, relaunch, and they're all there. I don't really mind, but it would be cool to have them refresh successfully upon rename. -
Inappropriate?p.s. I don't know if that detail helps on figuring out what it might be, but I don't mind on this one, because a quit and relaunch fixes it. Good work, guys!

Inappropriate?Glad there is an easy workaround, but that doesn't make it alright of course.
I'll look into the issue -
Inappropriate?@Caleb
thanks for letting me know. I just renamed my fonts back to their original name to fix the flashing previews.
