I uploaded a document from Word, a .doc document. Bookriff thinks it's a pdf and won't let me edit it. Can I do this differently somehow?

Hi Cate,
Thanks for pointing this out. The first problem is with our description. It should say that this is a file that cannot be edited (not just a PDF). It is possible to edit text that has been added in the simple BookRiff editor (in the section "Write Your Own Content"). However, in order to edit a Word doc, you will need to make those changes in Word and upload it again.
We will keep this issue in mind when we upgrade the text editor. I hope this helps Cate. Thanks

Yes, I can see that embedding edit functions in Bookriff that are already available in programs like Word would not be such a good idea.
