What if you could cross post the status changes of your books to twitter? So you add to a book to your want to read list and twitter says:
"Wants to read: Halting State by Charles Stross"
"Wants to read: Halting State by Charles Stross"

Inappropriate?Yes, that would be nice. Twitter doesn't support any api key though, so users will have to give their password to the web applications.
Alternative would be to get the feeds from web applications[1] and send them to twitter through a service like twitterfeed.com. In this case, the password has to be shared with only one service. On the other hand, Feeds can be added to Jaiku/FriendFeed/etc/ directly.
It would be awesome if BIAR is better supported on friendfeed i.e. post custom message titles instead of sth like "You posted an entry on tabreziqbal - Finished - Books I Am Reading"

yeah... needing to store people's twitter username and password would be ass...
I would love better support on friendfeed. Perhaps if you make some noise they will try it out. -
