3rd Party (EyeTV, iTunes, iPhoto) Integration
It would be great if boxee could access EyeTV recordings and easily switch to EyeTV for live TV and back (a la pyetv). Add to that support for local iTunes libraries - including playlists, music, movies, and TV shows - and local iPhoto librariers. And ultimately merging multiple libraries into one boxee library, such that both EyeTV recordings and iTunes TV shows are merged under the boxee TV shows menu.

Not sure if this option is currently available, but playlists would be excellent! I like starting a video playlist of music videos at parties (huge hit).

Has anyone gotten this EyeTV live TV hack to work smoothly? The a/v sync is way off for me. Also...no way to change channels from within the interface :( I imagine a CyTV/Boxee plugin would be popular. -

Inappropriate?It would be ideal if you could have a kind of program shortcuts in boxee, so you could make an elegant switch from boxee to eyeTV and back and to frontrow and back... boxee is the greatest, but in stead of trying to do everything yourself, cooperate with the best.
