Inappropriate?Make sure your iTouch / iPhone is connecting to wifi that is on the SAME subnet as your boxee computer is. If it's using edge / 3g internet connection, then it will NOT be able to connect to Boxee.
A good troubleshooting technique here would be to use safari on your iTouch / iPhone to call up the boxee app's web-based interface by typing the IP address of the Boxee host & port number. If that doesn't work, then your handheld device isn't on the same subnet.

Inappropriate?Your prob. is that it can not find your computer on the wireless network. I've noticed that the boxee app needs a somewhat strong wireless sngal to work seamlessly. But I found a way around it by bypassing the Boxee app altogether and getting Airmouse from the app store.
Hope that helps.l

Inappropriate?I have been having the same issue, until last night.
I had my iPhone connected to the same network as my computer, and the app found the computer but kept saying "Error Connecting to Host"
I opened up port 8800 on my computers firewall, and viola.
Google how to open ports on your firewall if you are having the same problem.
I’m happy
