appleTV vs. Acer Revo
Which device gives users the best Boxee experience: An appleTV or an Acer Revo with Ubuntu/Boxee installed? By user experience, I mean this: after both devices are fully set up, which installation will run more smoothly? Does either platform limit Boxee's functionality in any way?

Inappropriate?I have an Acer Revo/Boxee setup. I stuck with the Windows XP install for a couple of reasons. Namely, Netflix and Hulu. You can't get Netflix via Ubuntu, not sure about Hulu.
While neither of these apps run at highest performance, it's not THAT bad, so far. I am not too picky about resolution, as long as there is no stuttering, and so far, Netflix creaks by ok. Hulu..well...I would say it's barely watchable.
But barely watchable is better than nothing.
However, I hear that if you aren't concerned with Netflix, the Ubuntu version is pretty streamlined and runs very well.
I've actually been very impressed with the little Acer box.
