Application: ITV Player
ITV have VERY recently introduced their own ITV Player. It works in a simmilar fashion to the BBC iPlayer. It uses Silverlight 2 to deliver it's video content... Should be a great addition to Boxee...

Inappropriate?That is an excellent idea. The Boxee BBC iPlayer was the tipping point for me to move to Boxee on my AppleTV - the ITV player would allow me to convince friends and family to do the same.

Inappropriate?Don't know whether this will be feasible in linux, as silverlight isn't fully supported - the moonlight project now allows you to display silverlight 1.0 but 2.0 support is still being worked on.
And I think Channel 4 uses DRMed windows media which only works on Windows.

Inappropriate?If this is a Silverlight issue then the Sky Player is also Silverlight so solving that would potentially get both available on Boxee, making it definitely worth the time & effor.t

Inappropriate?I've created an unofficial app for the ITV Player - see this forum post for more details. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on the Apple TV and I don't know if it is possible to make it work as it is most likely related to Flash issues specific to the Apple TV. -
