Browsing the "Movie" page makes me stabby.
Running Boxee on a atv. I have nearly 400Gb of divx movies on a smb share, 641 movies to be exact. Browsing the selection from the "Movies" page is cumbersome, slow and disorganized. I would like to see a limit on the number displayed per page and a "next" button. Also sorting based on genre, and year.

Inappropriate?I have over 300 movies shared the same way. I really like how ATV organizes the movies with genre. Sometimes I need to hit the Children & Family genre only when family is over.
Another section for adult that requires a password would be great as well!

As a parent of two toddlers, I strongly agree with this idea. It would be excellent to throw movies into a category and then call up that genre depending on the audience. -
The password for an adult section would be great! I have an unhealthily amount of adult content that I have told boxee not to index to avoid embarrassment when I show boxee off to guest, but since this is the internet I show no shame.

Inappropriate?This is my second most important concern. Due to volumes of movies having them all in one place can be cumbersome. I have all my folders sorted for this purpose on VMC and can easily steer to the kid friendly section when I am babysitting my GF's kids. Manual sorting and auto sorting by genre would be a great addition. -

Inappropriate?I tend to feel that AppleTV does the best job sorting this type of thing. Adding a seperate Boxee account for when you want to watch adult fare would be an easy fix. -
Inappropriate?Same here, I have 500ish movies and I don't use boxee's Movie directory, I browse my own file organization. My two suggestions are create a few "sort by" views and a page up/down.
The only suggestion I have for the sort by is the genre. I'm sure the IMDB has the genre for each movie, have boxee scan your movies and create a genre list that you can filter by.
Also, when browsing a directory that has a few hundred titles listed, a page up/down us much needed!

XBMC gets around this by making the scrollbar a selectable object. Move right to select the scrollbar and then it goes pageup/pagedown.
Boxee refuses to do this for some reason.

There's no way to do Page Up/Down in an invisible fashion with the Apple remote. The scrollbar's on screen anyway, so it doesn't add any navigation elements to the screen if they use it.
