Does Boxee scan folders recursively?

When I add a source (local, because I haven't gotten network sources to work yet), does Boxee scan that folder recursively? I have a Media folder on an external drive that contains folders for Movies, Music, etc. Can I just add the Media folder and check all content types, or should I add each subfolder separately?
