Files not showing up or only with a delay

First off - I don't have a big library of files. Still it takes hours for boxee to just even find them. I've added a folder with 10 files in it as new source. 30 minutes later I still cannot find the files through boxee. The worst thing - there is no way to see or trigger the indexing. The files magically appear - or they don't. For example I have several seasons and all follow the same naming conventions. Some seasons show up, some don't. Now the worst thing: some I cannot even add manually (with browse). I am literally stuck.

You guys really need to fix the file handling. This is terrible!

Monitoring a filesystem for changes is no rocket science. Decouple the metadata retrieval process from the file detection and we are good.
