Flickr authorization

I would very much like to have the ability to sign into my Flickr account so I have extended access to some of my hidden content.
If it is already possible to log into your Flickr account, I would like if this feature were more visible.

Inappropriate?me too :)
we know that we need to implement it, we are constantly working on our applications layer and this kind of authentications require some smarter mechanisms.
i can tell you that the subject is very close to my heart (www.flickr.com/photos/i_cohen).
so its a personal promise :)
I’m happy that we and the users are thinking a like

Inappropriate?I can't actually think of a boxee employee who doesn't have a flickr account, so this one should get higher priority in the next versions...
(and if we're into promoting our flickr streams - www.flickr.com/photos/gkamin). -
Inappropriate? As long as we are still promoting flickr mine is

Lots of Premier League photos in there of my team Stoke City.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Maybe I'm missing something but I see a few entries on the board saying that they have added their flickr accounts.
I've looked all over but failed to find this. I was able to add account info for Hulu but do not see a corresponding component for Flickr.
Also, it would be nice to set the screensaver to either my photostream or my flickr favorites... -
Inappropriate?what users are doing is adding their account through the boxee client (there is a login option on the top bar), then boxee can access their public photos and photosets on flickr. whats needed is a more complex authentication which will probably be made throught the boxee website.
re the screensaver, i'm all for it and i hope we'll see it soon.

Inappropriate? For some reason, I do not see the login option.
All I see is Add Contact, Interestingness and Search.
BTW I see no way to delete a contact. -
Inappropriate?ho sorry, my bad.
you are right no login just add contact. because we do not really authenticate there is no need to login, what you do is just add contacts (you can add yourself and friend) and view their public photos.
when you go into one of the contacts themselves you can remove them.
sorry again for the wrong answer. -
Inappropriate?I'd very much like to see this. My main issue is that I don't get the high-res versions of my photos, and the workaround of allowing the public to see these isn't really a good option. Glad to see there's some support for this option.
I’m excited.

Inappropriate?Just installed the latest Mac version, so thought I'd chime in and say I'm still hoping for Flickr auth capability. I'm guessing folks on the ATV version really want this too, as Boxee's access is a bit of a step backwards.
I’m hopeful
