is there a new version of boxee to download after the NYC meetup?

Is it only for Mac OS? What about linux? When will we get it too??

i don't get PBS, I don't get alternate app box repositories like BoxeeHQ, it took awhile but Hulu finally started working.

i understood there would be a new release on the 24th, not just an announcement of the features in the "bleeding edge" version offered for those who weren't "faint of heart". this led me to believe it would have new feature AND be more robust, not just the same version.

so tell me, is it just the same version i've had for several weeks on my ATV?

@wizdum, to get alternate app box repositories, you'll need to add them under "Add Repository" inside the App box.
you'll need to know the address of the repository you want to add. if you mentioned boxeehq for example, then their address, as stated by avner last night is http://dir.boxeehq.com. type this address as the repository address, and then you'll have the applications by boxeehq in your New Applications window.

there has been a new release on the 24th, which includes pandora, radio time and some other things avner mentioned in the meetup.

what whitney and avner presented regarding the beta version (user control over the home screen, faving a show to get announcements on new episodes etc.) is just a hint of what's expected to be released in the beta version, a few months from now.

but there is no new download of boxee under "downloads"--is the one i downloaded weeks ago the latest one? in other words, what is the release number of the latest release for ATV?

is there a new update for the windows alpha? the super-secret link in the email still points to the previous version.

there is a new download in the site's downloads section - 0.9.10.5534 (test version).

no new linux nor windows version yet. those are coming soon...
