Recording TV via 3rd Party Device
I love boxee and have been for some time, but I still do have one problem. One thing I am regularly doing still is recording stuff on TV and pausing live programming. If that were integrated into Boxee it would fully move to the Living Room as the only device. I have it running on a mac mini and can hook up a TV Card.
I know it might be problematic to support all TV card but maybe there is a best of both worlds, a middle line.
This is the only thing holding me back really. I don't want 20 devices in the living room :)

Inappropriate?Agreed. I'm playing with Boxee on my mac mini HTPC. Currently a major user of EyeTV to rip television - integrating with Boxee would provide the option of going to one UI. -

Inappropriate?Interesting suggestion and while I see myself capable of setting this up and it could probably be improved I see do not fully see myself explaining to my wife that she has to "VNC into the CyTV Server to change channels" ;)
