I have been using Spotify in the UK for about a year now. I pay the £10 per month subscription, so I do not get the ads, and it streams at 320kbs. It is a wonderful piece of kit as I no longer buy a CD with out having heard it a couple of times before I go to the music store! It would be marvelous to ad it to my Boxee apps.

Inappropriate?especially now last.fm radio is only going to be free in UK, US and Germany. Many users would like to see a new plugin to listen to their favorite songs. So if boxee could team up with Spotify that would be awesome. Then I will have my charts and scrobbles at last.fm for free and the best music for free using spotify.

Inappropriate?Spotify have just announced they are going to launch in US too. I am guessing UK and US are boxees biggest markets.

You could offer a great experience for the HTPC on a TV. Besides, that opens up many opportunities for advertince since boxee it's mostly used on a TV. -
