Inappropriate? It really depends on how it was installed to begin with. In most cases, you can simply add the computer to a group in VNCScan, right-click the computer, choose VNC Management, and choose to uninstall VNC.
Have you had a chance to give this a try yet?
I’m confident

Inappropriate?I just end up with multiple services installed. I have not been lucky getting that function to remove a manually installed UltraVNC RC1.4 or Real VNC Free Edition...
I end up with multiple services running: "winvnc", "WinVNC", and "uvnc_service"...
Any thoughts? I would like to blow all other instances out and start from scratch with VNC Scan. I just purchased the license and it looks great.
I’m still frustrated

Inappropriate?Yeah I have same issue..
the 'remove VNC from here' wizard doesn't actually remove (uninstall) the original VNC (say RealVNC)off the PC.. just kills the service. I then deploy and it puts my version on.. I then end up with 2 (say realVNC and TightVNC).
VNC Version in VNCScan still reflects 'VNC Server Free Edition' which is RealVNC but with TightVNC1.3.9 as the Deployment Profile.. even after a re-check VNC version.. Tight VNC is active though..
Is this normal/correctable.. latest VNCscan build in use..
