Thumbnail view blocked?
Is there any way a user can block the VNCScan Enterprise application from allowing someone to capture Thumbnails. I have one user who is an administrator that I can't see either of his 2 computers, but I can see everyone else computers with no problem. All I receive is a blank white screen. Any ideas on why this would happen, and is there a way that a person could prevent this from working. I'm not asking on how to do this, I'm only wondering if it is possible without any special software. We are using Windows XP with SP2 in a corporate environment. The firewall feature is turned off. Thanks for your help.

Inappropriate? Is the remote user currently logged on? You typically get a white screen if the computer is a tthe <ctrl><alt><del> screen.</del></alt></ctrl>

Inappropriate? Also, if you are not administrator of the machine this will happen as well. Aka if that user removed domain admins from the administrators group from the computer, thus keeping only himself and the local admin in the administrators group of the local machine.
best way to correct this is to add a machine script to AD to readd the domain admins or any other member to the local machine administrators group.
