Inappropriate?Downloaded the latest version of vncscan (6.11.218) but i could not deply ultravnc104 to vista business. The machine is part of our domain and i am logged in as a domain admin. Windows firewall is also disabled and now other firewalls are installed. The only way i was able to get ultravnc104 installed was to manually install it which defeats the purpose. Also network discovery and file sharing are enable as well. Any suggestions?

Inappropriate? When you say that you manually installed UltraVNC, do you mean from the install that is downloadable from their website or using the Bozteck supplied installer? One thing to keep in mind is that the two installers use different service names and it can get ugly using both. The Bozteck installer uses the name "winvnc" to remain compatable with all of the other releases out there while the UltraVNC installer has changed the service name for some reason.
If you remove all installs of UltraVNC from that vista box, reboot it, and then push from VNCScan, what is the script output during the push? -
Inappropriate? It was a manual download from the uvnc.com. Uninstalled and removed all traces of ultravnc and rebooted.

Once I press any key to continue the dos box closes and no instance of ultravnc is installed -
Inappropriate? That's strange. The errors indicate either a corrupted install of VNCScan or something at the other end is preventing access to the c$ share.
Did you do an upgrade from a previous version? If so, what version? You may benefit from removing all installs of VNCScan and doing a new install of this release: http://www.bozteck.com/vncscan.2008.6....
If this doesn't fix it, we need to start looking at the computer that UltraVNC is being deployed to. This could indicate a firewall setting or a service that is not running. Vista has a lot of these remote management services shut off by default. -
Inappropriate?Yes I upgraded from a previous but i did a complete uninstall, reboot, then installed the latest version (6.11.218). Windows firewall is disabled.

Inappropriate? Some of this, we may need to communicate via email because it could contain information that you would not want posted on a website. We'll be sure to update this thread with the final fix, though.
While the deployment script is running, there's a temporary script file located at c:\fastpush\vnc7\push.cmd. When you press any key at the end of the script, that file gets deleted.
Would you please do a push of UltraVNC to the Vista computer and, while the command window is open, open the push.cmd file with notepad and paste the contents into an email to support@vncscan.com?
If you look at the C:\ drive on the Vista computer, is there a file named temp? -
Inappropriate?I think that this is only happening if you uncheck the option to copy shortcuts at the end of the deployment wizard. Is this the case?
