Inappropriate?You can save local drafts: just choose File > Save as... from the editor.
As for multiple post windows, we are trying to keep the number of open windows in the app to a minimum, and will probably not be adding this feature.

Inappropriate?I've done that. What's irritating is that after doing that when I go to "show post window" instead of a blank post window I get the one that I last saved. Maybe all you need to do is have "show post window" always open to a blank entry. A simple change that would greatly increase workflow simplicity. -
Inappropriate?IMHO this would be detrimental to the user experience for new users who close the post window (prompting to clear the editor when showing a window which can be closed and reopened at will would be counter-intuitive). It's not a huge extra step to click the Trash icon on the lower right corner to clear the editor.

Inappropriate?I didn't even see the trash icon. Thank you. Maybe that icon needs to be a bit more prominent?
