Ability to post to Twitter while in Private Mode
I'd like to see the ability to publish notes and photos to Twitter while in private mode. If someone clicks on the link that takes them to the annotated Google Map, that map will display the note or photo at the location specificity level noted in the private settings.

Inappropriate? That's exactly how it works right now :) If your posts don't show up, then you've probably set them to 'hidden' for everyone in the privacy settings

this is one of the best points

Ah ha. Thanks for clarifying that. Again, a little explanation on those sharing/privacy pages might help a little bit. Either way, thanks for the help! -
Hi Martin, what I want is to be able to categorize Twitter as a trusted friend, friend, or everyone else. Then I can control what gets posted there.
Twitter already has its own security now. -
Inappropriate? The solution by Martin defeats the entire purpose of private mode.
Private mode: makes things so that certain people (i.e. the universe) do not see things you don't want them to.
Making posts available to "everyone else" makes it show up--to everyone else, even if they don't even have an account (like on the home page).
As KiltBear states, Twitter has its own privacy settings, so the best solution would be, as (s)he states, allow the option to make twitter a friend / trusted friend.
I’m frustrated
