Automatically disable SMS messages when roaming internationally
It would be very handy if there were a slider setting under Notifications that would allow me to automatically disable SMS notifications when outside of my home country (of course, you'd need to allow me to set a home country/home city/home airport first...). This would help me keep my roaming fees down -- and would be a nice, fairly straight-forward feature to offer.

Inappropriate?Hi Chris, we do offer a global SMS switch that you can turn on and off under Account Settings -> Notifications. When set to off you shouldn't receive any SMS notifications.

I know about that -- but that's not really what I'm looking for. The idea is to be smart about my location -- and when I'm outside of my native country, to automatically disable SMS notifications without me having to do anything until I check in back into my home country.
For example, if I'm traveling in a country with poor internet connectivity or I can't access the web on my mobile device, but I happen to check in somewhere in that country, it would be cool if Brightkite would see that and realize "oh! he's in some other country! he wants his SMS notifications turned off!" And it would just work...
I suppose I could try to learn the SMS syntax for disabling notifications, but I guess I'm looking for a more automatic solution.
