It would be cool if there was a jabber bot to interact with. Basically another way to access the SMS tools. Without having to pay for SMS.

Inappropriate?How about partnering with Firebot (http://twitter.com/firebot) or Fireball (http://fireballapp.com) ? You've already got Fire Eagle support, so the connection seems to make sense.
