Bluesjanet, a desktop client is on our to do list. There have also been people who have talked about creating clients using our public API, available here:

Okay, thank you! And thanks for considering accessibility too. Both of my friends so far are blind folks, so they both use screen readers. Oh, and we all use Macs. :)
