Brightkite to Facebook connection is not working for some users
I've added and removed and readded the connection to no avail. I got one picture to go through and no more.

Inappropriate?I'm having the same issue for the most part. But for me, check-ins do post to Facebook, but photos and notes do not. I'm not sure if this is related, but my twitters don't update either.

Inappropriate?This is now working for me. Leslie helped me determine that there was a problem with the connection and that I had my "everyone" sharing setting to hidden which blocks the sharing to other services. :) Love the new settings.

Inappropriate?I have Brightkite set up to send my posts to my Facebook news feed. This was working perfectly the other day, but is no longer working. I do have my "everyone" sharing setting to hidden (as Amy mentions above), so I can change that if that is the problem -- but it was working just fine earlier in the week so I'd like to confirm that this is what I should do.

Jamie, opening up your privacy settings should do the trick. Also visit this page: http://www.facebook.com/editapps.php?... and click "edit settings" next to Brightkite to make sure that you've allowed Brightkite to publish stories to your feed.

Inappropriate?I'm having the exact same problem as Jamie. Had been working fine, I didn't change anything, but within the last day or 2 BrightKite is no longer posting to my facebook news feed. Still works fine updating twitter at least but I wish the facebook issue was resolved.

Inappropriate?If you're having problems with stories hitting your wall, double check your Brightkite settings here: http://www.facebook.com/editapps.php?... You will have to allow Brightkite to publish stories to your wall.
There is also a 10 story limit per day for Facebook apps, so if you exceed that it won't show all your activity for that day.
As for certain updates not sharing at all, we're looking into that problem now.

Inappropriate?Could it be that on the Facebook apps page the [additional permissions tab] that the "update my status without notifying me" box should NOT be checked if you want BrightKite to post to your wall only? Just wondering.

Inappropriate?Okay, I take part of that back. Notes are working, but mine are set to go to Facebook as news feeds and are instead going as status messages. Which made my last BK update look really funny. :)
On a related topic, my Brightkite/Twitter integration is working again.

Inappropriate?Jamie, you're using the BK/FB app, right? If so, you can go to the sharing tab and change how it integrates with FB. You can set it so your notes show as news feeds instead of as status messages. Just be aware that FB allows only 10 news feed updates per day, so if you do more than that, the newer ones won't show.

It's a slow news day for me so the 10 update limit is not a problem. :)

Inappropriate?Hmmm, that's strange. Hopefully an employee will have an answer.
I have mine set to update my status, but I changed it to news feed and posted a note. It posted to my profile correctly. A friend said he had to go back into the "Edit Settings" page on FB (as explained in a note above) and adjust his settings a second time. Somehow they got changed to the incorrect thing.
I wonder if the 10 news feeds things is from each app, like 10 from BK, 10 from another or 10 from all your apps combined. -

Ah, okay, it looks like your Brightkite->Facebook settings got reset somehow. If you login at http://brightkite.com and go to your Account Settings -> Sharing you can set it back up. Sorry about that!

Inappropriate?Ok it's working now. I think the problem is "activated" when i go to the confg menu and try to see the Brightkite confg menu on facebook, after i press okey it just stop sync.

Inappropriate?I'm having a similar problem when using the iPhone to check in. Twitter seems to get my check in however, FB does not. Interestingly, I used the web version and it worked to both.
