Brightkite wouldn't check in, only gave my previous location from two days ago.
I travelled from Houston to Dallas this weekend. However, every time I attempted enter my new location (the business as well as the physical address including zip), it would only pull up the business and address of my last checkin, which was in Houston. For two days it did this.

Inappropriate?Danetidwell, can you give us a little more info on this problem? What location(s) were you trying to check in to? What location in Houston is it reverting to? If this is sensitive data, you can email me at lesley AT brightkite DOT KOM.

Inappropriate?I tried checking into several locations in Dallas, Texas. One was called Barcadia. I used both the name of the venue as well as the physical address. Another was Dave & Buster's. When I would click search it would pull up my last checkin and several different locations for it, Escalante's Mexican Grill in Houston, Texas.
I used the "x" to clear out both the address and name of the mexican restaurant and re-enter the name of the new location and it would just pull up the mexican restaurant again. -
Inappropriate? Were you actually checked in to Dallas, TX when you were doing these business searches? If you use the "x" to clear the address and business info when you do a search, it still bases that search off of the location that you are currently checked in to. You would either have to checkin somewhere in Dallas and do a business search for "Dave and Busters" or you can enter a nearby address and search "Dave and Busters" and that should work too.
There looks to be a bug with business searches and using "&", because "Dave and Busters" seems to work fine but "Dave & Busters" does not. We will look into this and fix it.
Barcadia doesn't return any results because it's so new it's not even in Google Maps yet. The address itself seems to show up fine though:

For businesses like this, that aren't in Google Maps or our database yet, you can add a custom label by doing the following:
1917 N Henderson Ave, Dallas, TX 75206, USA [Barcadia]
Adding your custom label in brackets will then make the location show like this:

I hope that helps some.
