Check In Search Using Last Check In

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I thought of it on the way to lunch. When checking in to locations such as popular chains/restaurant, could it be implemented for the search to find the closest result to where you last checked in? So if you checked in at work and wanted to check in at starbucks, it would search for the closest starbucks to your job.
