Desktop app?
I'm tired of the constant downtime and am ready to leave Twitter. I don't want to have to visit the brightkite website to input updates (or constantly do them on my phone). Do you have a desktop app?

Inappropriate?Robert if you email me - brady at brightkite dot kom
I will send you an invite. -
Inappropriate?I received an invite, looking forward to checking out the service over the next few weeks! I just wish my iPhone supported Java apps.
Thanks!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Yes there is :)

Inappropriate? Thanks Brady for this quick response, amazing, far better than the 5-7 day turnaround on Flickr!:D
Just one little question more :)... Since the Brightkite team is working on the desktop app for OSX is it possible that, just if you guys have the time, to aslo make a dashboard widget? That would be the ultimate way of quickly checking where your friends (colleagues are). I know you're waiting for developers to do this with the API, but an official widget from your team would be the best user experience...
I’m thankful

Evert, we're considering making our own widget, if we have the time. We're a small company, so sometimes that can be a challenge. ;) -
Inappropriate? What happened to the brightkite desktop app?

Inappropriate?I would love to know what is happening on this front too. I think brightkite is great, but it would be even better to have some desktop notifications.

Inappropriate?ditto. iphone app is out but until there is a desktop app it's hard to make the leap from twitter.
