Does the iPhone App use Text Messages?
I am wondering if the BrightKite iPhone App uses Text Messages. I currently do not have a text messaging plan and want to avoid huge texting fees if this app uses text messages.

Inappropriate?Hi Timothy, you can opt in to receive text messages from Brightkite, but they are not on by default. As long as you don't confirm your phone, you won't receive any messages from us.
