Flickr integration?
Maybe you're already working on this, but how about when I send a photo from a location, you put that photo in my flickr stream in a set of my choosing with the proper location tags/metadata and other tags I may want to add.
I know I could just cc flickr on a picture email from my phone, but it would be cool to get the photo and useful location info to both places (bkite and flickr) in one step.
Perhaps you could also add some machine tags a la Upcoming.org so the flickr photo links back to my bkite post?

Inappropriate?i agree also, i seem to have problems understanding the purpose of bright kite, I have a blog, flickr account even tumblr account so why do i need bright kite to post images and notes? Intergrating other services sounds ideal, when I'm at an upcoming event bBK could be updated, when i post an image via shozu to flickr this could be tagged as a place i'm at also. I don't know i'm just trying to find a use of BK that's easy, doesn't need me to keep login in to a site to do things i do in other locations just so others know where i am.

Inappropriate?another way of geotagging AND getting pictures into brightkite places would be using the flickr API to find a user's flickr photos in a given timeframe which matches a user's checkins.

Inappropriate?Uploading photos these days is completely useless for many people, myself included. There could be a "import photo from flickr" feature, or any other photo hosting service, there could even be the option of BK updating the photo's geotag -
Inappropriate?We are currently working on Flickr integration and for the time being it will only publish from BK -> Flickr. We're not exactly sure when you'll see it implemented, but it should be sometime soon.

Inappropriate?Sharing to Flickr is now available! You can set it up under Account Settings -> Sharing. Right now you can just upload with optional geotagging, but soon you'll be able to allow uploads to a specific set.
