Getting email error replies without sending any email in!

I am getting email error replies from Brightkite even though I an not sending any email in.

The body of the emails are "Sorry, but we didn't understand you. To post a note here, reply with SAY YOURNOTE. To message somebody, use MSG USERNAME MESSAGE, for example MSG HIRO HI"

Maybe this email has somehow fallen into some spam list? A possible solution would be for me to "reset" the personal email to a new one?
