How about a narrower web layout?

I'd love to see a web layout that doesn't depend on such a wide browser window. Some of us like to keep our browser windows on the narrow side. Also, many people will want to access the main site from a mobile browser, even when a mobile-specific version becomes available. Perhaps you could find a layout which takes advantage of wide windows but degrades gracefully when the window is narrower?

As far as desktop browsers go, we try to cater to the most common browser/screen sizes. With so much information to present, it becomes difficult to fit everything on the screen in a useful way and still account for any browser window size.

We're working on the mobile-specific versions of the site and think they'll offer enough functionality that people won't need to access the main site on their phones.
