How do I add a new business listing?
How do we add a business listing not currently in your database? I'm sure you're pulling from an external database or something but we need to be able to add listings so we can check in at new businesses.

We are currently adding a feature that will allow you to edit and create new businesses in our database. In the meantime you can add the correct name to your business using the method in this thread.

Have you tried giving custom labels to locations that don't show up in the business search? http://getsatisfaction.com/brightkite... We don't have an ETA on creating new locations in our database yet, there is a lot of backend work that has to be done first. -
Yeah, I've tried that, and it works for me. It'd just be nice to have them show up in everyone else's searches, especially as the set of already-known Canadian locations is pretty light.

Does that add them as an actual listing or "unverified"? If it's the latter it won't show up in Brightkite until it is verified and made an actual listing.
