How do I find out my password without email address?

I have two Brightkite accounts for some unknown reason, I don't know if they are connected but I get two updates from some people (one from each account). For one of the accounts, I only have the username, nothing more, I don't know the registered email address, so how can I recover the login details? Can an email address be used for more than one account?
