How to turn off Twitter linkage for a while
I would like to turn off my Twitter link for a while, while I do some testing with the BrightKite API. I tried to do this, by hitting the trash can icon next to Twitter on my settings page. but the updates are still going there. They even go to the original twitter account when I try to link my updates to a different twitter id I have.
Can you tell me how to turn off and on this linkage between BrightKite and Twitter?

Inappropriate?egilchri, you can disable Twitter sharing by going to Account Settings -> Sharing. If you uncheck everything there, clear out your info, and click "save" your activity will no longer share to Twitter.

Thanks. That totally did it. I was trying to to it from the Account Settings -> Profile tab, but now I get that that was only about linking to my twitter profile. Thanks!
