I cannot get checkins at a specific location to show under a custom title.
I'm trying to figure out why the posts at
3200 S Arlington Rd, Akron, OH 44312, USA
As shown here:
http://brightkite.com/places/e891ee03...
Aren't also showing up with searches for "3200 S Arlington Rd, Akron, OH 44312, USA"
http://brightkite.com/places/2cc92d61...
I can create another custom place with that same address and get this:
3200 S Arlington Rd, Akron, OH 44312, USA http://brightkite.com/places/2cf3d3b2...
which has the Target check-ins but not the check ins at just the address.
And strangely one custom search added a Plus4 to the zip and came up with this address:
3200 S Arlington Rd, Akron, OH 44312-5216, USA http://brightkite.com/places/3688daa4...
Obviously searching for 44312, Panera doesn't produce the desired result.
http://brightkite.com/places/search?q...
The end goal would be to preserve the check ins at a location that has the custom label of "Panera Bread". But I can't seem to do that...
Do you have any thoughts as to what might be going on and how a user could resolve this inconsistancy?

Inappropriate?Hi Brian, I have experienced this myself so I know how frustrating it can be. It is a complicated problem that we are aware of and we are working on finding the best solution to fix it. We really appreciate all of the info you have provided here, it will be helpful in resolving this.

Inappropriate?Dont worry, I was only somewhat frustrated and not really frustrated. I'm sure there is something that generated a unique ID for that location (perhaps I typed it in with a lowercase letter at somepoint) and he UI doesn't show the difference anymore once the address has been normalized for the UI or something weird like that... It was created before custom titles existed AFAIK, and that probably figures into it.
Should I work my way around the problem right now and just use the custom titled one that shows the Target stores as well? I can re-post the picture manually too as far as that goes.

That is part of what's going on and yes, we would recommend using the workaround for now until we can get this taken care of. :)
